Healthy Woman Recipe Spotlight:It is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, most women are too busy to eat a healthy breakfast. Below is a delcious breakfast recipe that you can take on the go... Golden Raisin Banana Breakfast Bread 3 Tblsp melted unsaturated margarine Grease and flour a loaf pan and set aside. Melt margarine in a small saucepan and set aside. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl. Add the cinnamon. In a separate bowl mix the eggs, butter, vanilla, and sugar. Add butter mixture to flour mixture. Stir in raisins and mashed banana. Top with nuts. Spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, and bake at 350F for approximately 40- 45 minutes or until golden brown and baked through. Turn over to wire rack to cool. Once the bread is cool, slice into serving size pieces. Put them in individual plastic bags and now you have a quick and healthy breakfast on the run!
